As a Creative Video Editor at Malam Mencekam, you’ll be at the heart of our production process. Every day, you’ll dive into our vast library of raw footage, selecting and editing clips that bring our horror stories to life. Using industry-leading tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, you’ll craft visually compelling content that resonates with our audience. This role isn’t just about technical skills; it’s about understanding the emotional impact of horror and translating that into compelling visuals.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Edit and assemble raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro to create cohesive and engaging video content.
• Use Adobe After Effects to add creative enhancements, animations, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with the audio team to ensure visuals align with the narrative and emotional tone of the podcast.
• Enhance visuals using Adobe Photoshop for color correction, compositing, and graphic design.
• Review and provide feedback on other team members' work to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in video editing to continuously improve our production quality.
• Work closely with the content team to understand the story and ensure the visuals support the overall narrative.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality video content on schedule.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the horror or audio storytelling genre.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to create compelling visuals that enhance the audio narrative.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Experience with social media platforms and an understanding of digital content distribution.
• Portfolio showcasing previous video editing work, particularly in the horror or audio storytelling genre.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field (preferred but not required).
